Taylor Swift Announces New Album RED for October 22nd Release
Any recent ex-boyfriends of Taylor Swift — consider yourself warned. The country/pop star surprised fans last night during a Google + Hangout by announcing her new album, RED, will be released on October 22nd.
During the video chat, Swift played Red’s first single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” a pop-leaning tune with lyrics that describe the end of her relationship with a recent, unnamed beau, which is now on sale via iTunes and Google Play.
Swift also mentioned that Red will have 16 tracks and feature several co-writes – including a duet with UK singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Swedish impressario Max Martin.
