Singer-songwriter Tony Lucca signs a new record deal with Adam Levine’s label, 222 Records.
Lucca, a finalist on last season’s singing competition The Voice, was mentored by Levine, who apparently made good on a promise to sign the talented singer-songwriter after the show concluded. In an announcement via Instagram and Facebook, Lucca made it known that if anything, Adam Levine is a man of his word.
Lucca joins Glee’s Matthew Morrison, Levine’s first signing, on 222 Records. Levine told Billboard back in February that starting his own label was a “long-time goal.”
No idea what this signing will mean for Lucca’s trademark sound, but we’re sure hoping it won’t be “Moves Like Jagger 2″ or “Pay Phone 2″ related…
