After a much-hyped appearance, Justin Timberlake finally returned to the live television stage last night as he performed his new single, “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z from upcoming album The 20/20 Experience (March 19). When all was said and done, it was his new song, “Mirrors,” which was promptly premiered last night that is dominating all the major headlines. The 8-minute long cut is more in-line with what we’ve come to love and expect from Timberlake’s signature sound.

Produced by Timbaland, “Mirrors,” has to be inspired by Timberlake’s long-time relationship with now wife Jessica Biel with lines like, “And I tell you baby it was easy, coming back to you once I figured it out, you were right here all along….You are you are the love of my life.”
