Ed Sheeran Announces Headlining U.S. Tour in 2012

UK singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has been steadily gaining notoriety here in the States over the last few months, so it comes as no surprise that he has announced his first headlining tour in support of debut effort “+.” (June 12)

According to Billboard, the “VH1 You Oughta Know Tour with Ed Sheeran” officially begins Sept. 19 in Boston and extends to major cities including New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles, before wrapping up Oct. 6 in Seattle. We have posted the full list of dates after the jump.

Presale tickets will be available to members of Sheeran’s online community beginning June 5th. Fans can also get early tickets through a pre-order offer of his album. All remaining tickets will then go on sale later in June.
