This year’s Austin City Limits festival will feature headlining performances from Muse, M.I.A., the Eagles, LCD Soundsystem, Phish, and Vampire Weekend. A nice, eclectic mix of old and new performers if you ask us.
The full festival lineup features over 130 acts including the Strokes, the Flaming Lips, Spoon, Norah Jones, Band of Horses, Monsters of Folk, Sonic Youth, the National, Broken Bells, Yeasayer, Beach House, and Gaslight Anthem. The Austin music scene will also represent with acts such as the Black Keys, singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen, Deadmau5, Gogol Bordello, and Devendra Banhart.
According to organizers, three-day passes for the event sold out even before the lineup was announced, but single-day tickets ($85) went on sale Tuesday (May 18), so you better hurry up!
Also on the bill: Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, the Sword, Matt & Kim, the XX, Portugal. The Man, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Girls, Ryan Bingham & the Dead Horses, Blues Traveler, Local Natives, Lucero, Pete Yorn, the Soft Pack, Ozomatli, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Richard Thompson, Manchester Orchestra, Miike Snow, Mountain Goats, Mayer Hawthorne, Foals, the Morning Benders, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, the Very Best and the Constellations.
