Producer Rodney Jerkins aka DarkChild continues to drop clues on what we can expect out of Janet Jackson’s upcoming 11th studio album. Jerkins, who has admired Jackson for years, told MTV News that he’s always been a fan of her music and what she’s created with long-time producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and that they “musically connect.”
So what can we expect out of the Jackson/DarkChild collaboration? According to Jerkins, “an emotionally driven album.” He goes on to tell MTV News that, “the studio has become a second home for her because with the whole situation with Michael [Jackson] happening, and I feel like right now, emotionally, she can come here and let all her feelings out. I got her writing again — she has the pen and the pad in her hand.”
