Stitch Makes Surprise Appearance at Méga CGR in Tarbes

As the beloved Disney film Lilo & Stitch returns to the big screen, the mischievous alien himself delighted fans with a surprise visit to the Méga CGR cinema in Tarbes, much to the joy of his youngest admirers.

Stitch wasn’t alone for this special occasion. He was joined by six dancers from the Pau-based association Ohana Ori Tahiti, which is dedicated to promoting Polynesian culture through traditional storytelling and dance. The group captivated the audience with graceful performances in the cinema’s lobby and later inside the theatre itself. Among the dances was the welcoming “Ia ora na”, a traditional piece symbolising the Polynesian way of saying hello.

Always up to mischief, Stitch couldn’t resist crashing the performance and took to the stage to dance alongside the troupe. His playful antics were met with laughter and applause, especially from the children, who were thrilled to see their animated hero come to life. The energetic blue alien posed for photos, shared plenty of cuddles, and brought an extra touch of magic to the afternoon.

The event was filled with warmth, colour and light-hearted fun—an unforgettable experience for families attending the screening.

Lilo & Stitch is now showing in cinemas across the country.
